Anthéna approached NEUF with the goal of defining his artistic identity for the release of his debut EP Ghetto House. He needed a full creative direction that would solidify his presence both musically and visually. NEUF answered this call by providing a comprehensive suite of services, including music production, graphic design, photography, styling, and art direction. Drawing on the raw, high-energy roots of Chicago’s Ghetto House genre and blending it with rap and sports culture, the project was built around a persona that symbolized speed, redemption, and athletic vigor.
The creative process involved close collaboration with Anthéna and his brother Benga, with Camporeale, NEUF’s in-house producer, guiding the music production. Visually, NEUF developed a dynamic identity using bold, athletic imagery that reflected the energy and fusion sound of the EP. Anthéna’s styling leaned into a "high-energy redempted crook" persona, incorporating sportswear and elements of health to enhance the narrative. The final deliverables included album art, graphics, and photography that fully captured the essence of this vision.
The release of Ghetto House marked a pivotal moment in Anthéna’s career, successfully securing industry support and establishing a fresh, energetic presence within the francophone music scene. The project’s innovative blend of music and visuals resonated with audiences, setting Anthéna apart as a unique and rising talent.
