NEUF Artist Lab contributed to The Spirit Don’t Die, a capsule collection created by Barcelona-based designer Wekaforé and Amsterdam’s Daily Paper, paying homage to Nigerian afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. NEUF handled the post-production and graphic design for the campaign’s photos and short film, infusing the visuals with elements of Afrofuturism and spirituality to honor Kuti’s legacy while pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion.
Inspired by a blend of futuristic aesthetics and spiritual motifs, NEUF worked on building the campaign’s visual language, ensuring a cohesive identity across both still and moving images. The campaign, produced by The Voodoo Agency, was set in a sci-fi universe and featured local talents, with NEUF applying fresh graphics and innovative editing techniques to bring the concept to life.
The final result was a striking, futuristic homage that captured the essence of Fela Kuti’s influence while integrating modern design elements, enhancing the visual impact of the collection and elevating the collaboration’s storytelling.
